3 Tips To Boost Your Exercise Routine On Women’s Health & Fitness Day!

September 30 is National Women’s Health & Fitness Day and part of the ongoing events celebrating National Women’s Health & Fitness Week during this last week of September.

The day and the week were created to promote awareness for women’s health and encourage women to take time for themselves to establish regular exercise routines.

To look and feel your best, you need to start from the inside out. Plastic surgery can help you put the finishing touches on your appearance, but a beautiful look begins with a healthy life.

Try these exercise tips to boost your routine and feel your best:

  • Girls Just Want to Have Fun! Exercise doesn’t need to be daunting. Make time to do the things you love. Whether it’s hiking, gardening, or horseback riding, getting yourself moving is key to maintaining your health.
  • Be realistic. Everyone wants to have goals. They help us feel accomplished and keep us motivated. But stay realistic when you set your goals for working out. If you are a beginner, try working out a couple of times a week. If you are advanced, set yourself an appropriate goal to train for, like an upcoming race or a hike you’ve always wanted to take.
  • Get friendly. Making an exercise date with a friend will make you more likely to stick to your workout routine. You can hold each other accountable and enjoy the exercise more when you do it together.

At Eisemann Plastic Surgery Center, we want to help you find your best self. Call us today at 713-766-0071 for your plastic surgery consultation with a triple board-certified plastic surgeon. We welcome patients from Houston, Sugar Land, and the surrounding communities.

Practice Policy Update Regarding COVID-19

Dr. Michael Eisemann, Dr. Bradley Eisemann, and the entire staff at Eisemann Plastic Surgery are committed to the health and safety of all of our patients and ourselves.

We are thankful to be connected to Houston Methodist Hospital, one of the most respected hospitals in the country. Because of this, our screening policy is aided by the hospital's official policies and checkpoint screening measures completed prior to entering our building. These measures allow us to do everything we can, at this point in time, to minimize the chance that we expose ourselves or our patients to someone who has been sick or contagious with the virus.

We are set up to perform new consults and patient follow-ups via ZOOM video conferencing.

As of Monday, March 23rd, our office is open. We are open and seeing select patients. If you are currently on the schedule, please call our office if you have any concerns about your own health.

While all major hospitals have stopped elective surgery at this time, we are very selectively performing indicated operative procedures in our procedure room and in our AAAASF certified operating room under local and IV sedation.

As always, both Dr. Michael Eisemann and Dr. Bradley Eisemann are available by phone and email to answer any questions you may have.
