Another important key to keeping up glowing, clear skin is by using a gentle toner. Rosewater is easy to make and naturally brightening and refreshing. Here’s a recipe for rosewater that can help you save money in the comfort of your own home.
Rosewater Recipe:
You Will Need:
- 7-10 organic roses
- 2 liters distilled water
- Cooking pot
- Strainer
- Glass jar
- Empty spray bottle
Take your 7-10 rose stems and pull off all of the petals. Gently rinse the petals to get rid of any dirt. In a pot, pour in just enough distilled water (about 1.5 liters) to cover the rose petals and let simmer for 20-30 minutes. When the roses have reached a pale pink shade, strain the water from the petals, and throw away any leftover petals. Store your rosewater in a glass jar in the fridge. Get an empty spray bottle and pour in 1 Tbsp of rosewater and mix it with 4 Tbsp of remaining distilled water to get the right diluted mixture for your brand new facial toner.
