Cosmetic Surgery To Become Ugly?

Looking younger, more beautiful, fixing that nose or taking care of a chin, we’ve all heard of different reasons for people wanting a procedure.
But have you ever heard of someone who is beautiful wanting to have surgery to get that taken care of?

A Chinese woman was reported to have recently sought cosmetic surgery to take away her beauty after being dumped by her boyfriend who was afraid she would eventually leave him. In Chongqing, China, a beautiful 23 year old woman was seeking a surgeon because she was convinced it was the only way for her to get back the love of her life. Apparently she had been in-love with her boyfriend for over six years and during most of that time her boyfriend is believed to have been afraid she would eventually become tired of him and choose one of the other many men who were interested in her for her beauty.

The decision was not immediate, which helps this strange story make a little more sense. It came after the woman had grown tired of a growing list of men who were seemingly all attracted to her because of her looks over a significant amount of time that she spent alone after having been left by her boyfriend. All the doctors she went to refused her requests and she was referred to psychotherapists and psychiatrists to try to help with her emotional problems.

Practice Policy Update Regarding COVID-19

Dr. Michael Eisemann, Dr. Bradley Eisemann, and the entire staff at Eisemann Plastic Surgery are committed to the health and safety of all of our patients and ourselves.

We are thankful to be connected to Houston Methodist Hospital, one of the most respected hospitals in the country. Because of this, our screening policy is aided by the hospital's official policies and checkpoint screening measures completed prior to entering our building. These measures allow us to do everything we can, at this point in time, to minimize the chance that we expose ourselves or our patients to someone who has been sick or contagious with the virus.

We are set up to perform new consults and patient follow-ups via ZOOM video conferencing.

As of Monday, March 23rd, our office is open. We are open and seeing select patients. If you are currently on the schedule, please call our office if you have any concerns about your own health.

While all major hospitals have stopped elective surgery at this time, we are very selectively performing indicated operative procedures in our procedure room and in our AAAASF certified operating room under local and IV sedation.

As always, both Dr. Michael Eisemann and Dr. Bradley Eisemann are available by phone and email to answer any questions you may have.
