Fries For Those Thighs?

For women some of the most troublesome areas to shape and tone are the thighs.  Females have a high level of fat storing enzymes, which enable them to store fat during pregnancy.  If you’re one of the lucky women who can control the excess fat and dimpling cellulite, then there’s sometimes the issue of extra skin creating a saggy appearance.  A plastic surgery procedure called a thigh lift reduces the accumulated fat, cellulite and extra skin resulting a smoother, better-proportioned and contoured lower body.  A medial thigh lift corrects excess fat and skin around the inner thigh area while an outer thigh lift corrects the outer thigh and mid thigh.  Liposuction and body contouring procedures are used to achieve the desired results.  After anesthesia is administered, your plastic surgeon makes a small incision large enough for a small, hollow plastic tube (called a cannula) to be inserted.  Once inside, the cannula suctions out a sufficient amount of fat to contour the thighs to the desired size and shape.  The results of your thigh lift will remain stable so long as you eat a healthy diet and perform some exercise.  When selecting a plastic surgeon, make sure s/he is board certified by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and that s/he has considerable experience with liposuction and body contouring of the thighs.   Houston Plastic Surgeon, Michael Eisemann, M.D. is triple board certified and has practiced plastic surgery for over 30 years.  Contact The Eisemann Plastic Surgery Center today to set up a consultation.

Practice Policy Update Regarding COVID-19

Dr. Michael Eisemann, Dr. Bradley Eisemann, and the entire staff at Eisemann Plastic Surgery are committed to the health and safety of all of our patients and ourselves.

We are thankful to be connected to Houston Methodist Hospital, one of the most respected hospitals in the country. Because of this, our screening policy is aided by the hospital's official policies and checkpoint screening measures completed prior to entering our building. These measures allow us to do everything we can, at this point in time, to minimize the chance that we expose ourselves or our patients to someone who has been sick or contagious with the virus.

We are set up to perform new consults and patient follow-ups via ZOOM video conferencing.

As of Monday, March 23rd, our office is open. We are open and seeing select patients. If you are currently on the schedule, please call our office if you have any concerns about your own health.

While all major hospitals have stopped elective surgery at this time, we are very selectively performing indicated operative procedures in our procedure room and in our AAAASF certified operating room under local and IV sedation.

As always, both Dr. Michael Eisemann and Dr. Bradley Eisemann are available by phone and email to answer any questions you may have.
