How Should I Choose a Liposuction Provider?

Some patients in Houston and elsewhere think of liposuction as a procedure that’s simple enough anyone can perform it. This misconception is based on the fact that liposuction really does possess an excellent safety record. It’s quite commonly performed.

However, this does not mean that you should take your liposuction procedure lightly or choose a doctor based on cost. Put simply, when choosing a liposuction provider, you should base your decision on the same factors you would consider when evaluating the provider of any significant surgical procedure.

In short, look for specialized training and experience. Dr. Michael Eisemann has been performing liposuction and other plastic surgery procedures in Houston for decades and is triple board-certified.

Every year patients suffer tragic and avoidable injuries as a result of un-trained doctors performing liposuction in offices that aren’t designed for the task and in circumstances which are not ideal for the procedure.

This doesn’t have to happen. When performed by our uniquely experienced plastic surgeon, liposuction is a safe and effective method for removing stubborn deposits of fat from patients at or near their ideal bodyweight.

If you live in the Houston, Texas area, or if you’re an out-of-town patient considering liposuction, please contact The Eisemann Plastic Surgery Center today for a consultation

Practice Policy Update Regarding COVID-19

Dr. Michael Eisemann, Dr. Bradley Eisemann, and the entire staff at Eisemann Plastic Surgery are committed to the health and safety of all of our patients and ourselves.

We are thankful to be connected to Houston Methodist Hospital, one of the most respected hospitals in the country. Because of this, our screening policy is aided by the hospital's official policies and checkpoint screening measures completed prior to entering our building. These measures allow us to do everything we can, at this point in time, to minimize the chance that we expose ourselves or our patients to someone who has been sick or contagious with the virus.

We are set up to perform new consults and patient follow-ups via ZOOM video conferencing.

As of Monday, March 23rd, our office is open. We are open and seeing select patients. If you are currently on the schedule, please call our office if you have any concerns about your own health.

While all major hospitals have stopped elective surgery at this time, we are very selectively performing indicated operative procedures in our procedure room and in our AAAASF certified operating room under local and IV sedation.

As always, both Dr. Michael Eisemann and Dr. Bradley Eisemann are available by phone and email to answer any questions you may have.
