It’s Bikini And Pool Party Season In Houston – Eeek!

Bikini and pool party are words that strike fear in the hearts of many, especially now that summer is upon us.  Try as we might to make our stomachs bathing suit ready, sometimes diet and exercise don’t provide the desired results – a sleek, sexy tummy.  The Eisemann Plastic Surgery Center in Houston, Texas offers excellent service and resources to its patients.  Dr. Michael Eisemann is triple board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and he is specifically trained in this field.  Dr. Eisemann has over 20 years of experience, has privileges at prestigious Houston hospitals, and offers his patients an accredited office-based surgical facility.  During your consult with Dr. Eisemann, he will evaluate whether you’re a good candidate for a tummy tuck and tell you the expectations for you to get the best results from a tummy tuck.  The tummy tuck procedure is performed under a general anesthesia.  Initially an incision is made on the lower abdomen from hip to hip.  Then the skin is separated from muscle of the abdomen, while excess skin and fat are removed.  After this, the two large abdominal muscles get sutured together, the incision is sutured closed, and bandaging is applied.  The entire procedure usually takes about three hours.  Patients have some bruising and swelling after their procedure, which usually fades away in two weeks.  Though there is a scar following surgery, it softens and flattens within about 3-4 months, and the scar is usually covered by underwear or bathing suit bottom.    To set a consultation with Dr. Eisemann, contact his office today.

Practice Policy Update Regarding COVID-19

Dr. Michael Eisemann, Dr. Bradley Eisemann, and the entire staff at Eisemann Plastic Surgery are committed to the health and safety of all of our patients and ourselves.

We are thankful to be connected to Houston Methodist Hospital, one of the most respected hospitals in the country. Because of this, our screening policy is aided by the hospital's official policies and checkpoint screening measures completed prior to entering our building. These measures allow us to do everything we can, at this point in time, to minimize the chance that we expose ourselves or our patients to someone who has been sick or contagious with the virus.

We are set up to perform new consults and patient follow-ups via ZOOM video conferencing.

As of Monday, March 23rd, our office is open. We are open and seeing select patients. If you are currently on the schedule, please call our office if you have any concerns about your own health.

While all major hospitals have stopped elective surgery at this time, we are very selectively performing indicated operative procedures in our procedure room and in our AAAASF certified operating room under local and IV sedation.

As always, both Dr. Michael Eisemann and Dr. Bradley Eisemann are available by phone and email to answer any questions you may have.
