Breast lift incision options
Our Houston breast lift surgery might be an option if you’re satisfied with the size of your breasts but simply want to achieve a higher, more lifted appearance.
There are four primary breast lift incision options offered by our Houston triple board-certified plastic surgeon and our fellowship-trained, board-certified plastic surgeon to accomplish a perkier and more appealing look. The incision options are as follows
Crescent
The incision is in the shape of a crescent moon at the top of the nipple, an appropriate technique when nipple placement is of concern, but only a small amount of sagging exists.
Circumareolar
Also known as a Benelli incision, this breast lift incision is made around the nipple and is best for mild ptosis (sagging).
Lollipop
Also called a vertical scar mastopexy, this incision goes around the nipple and extends vertically to the breast crease. The lollipop breast lift incision is often the most effective for moderate cases of breast sagging (ptosis).
Anchor
For more extreme cases of breast sagging, an anchor incision may be best. This option expands on the lollipop option to include an additional incision along the breast crease.
Each breast lift incision offers unique benefits, making each approach best suited for specific aesthetic problems. During your breast lift consultation at Eisemann Plastic Surgery Center, we will determine which surgical technique is ideally suited to produce the look you most desire.
