Skin Rejuvenation And Resurfacing

Skin rejuvenation is a medical treatment used to resurface the skin designed to improve the skin’s overall appearance including clarity and texture.  Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeons can achieve these results by using lasers, light treatment, chemical peels and other energy-based treatments.  Skin rejuvenation can treat loss of skin tone, vascular conditions, scars, pigmentation, static wrinkles and dynamic wrinkles.  Over the years skin tone can become lax due to lack of collagen and overall weakening of the supportive skin structure.  Vascular conditions can include broken capillaries, lesions that look like blood-filled blisters, and in some cases rosacea.  Static wrinkles are the ones that are visible at all times and don’t change with facial movement, whereas dynamic wrinkles are expression lines that appear and change with facial movement, such as smiling.  Pigmentation issues that can be addressed by skin rejuvenation include sunspots, melasma, and freckles.  Scars can include results of acne or old skin injuries.  Good candidates for skin rejuvenation and resurfacing include non-smokers, those who are physically healthy, and those who have realistic expectations and outlook toward the procedure.  Dr. Michael Eisemann, a Houston triple board certified plastic surgeon performs hundreds of skin resurfacing and rejuvenation procedures every year with stellar results.  For more information on your skin treatment options, contact Dr. Eisemann’s office today.

Practice Policy Update Regarding COVID-19

Dr. Michael Eisemann, Dr. Bradley Eisemann, and the entire staff at Eisemann Plastic Surgery are committed to the health and safety of all of our patients and ourselves.

We are thankful to be connected to Houston Methodist Hospital, one of the most respected hospitals in the country. Because of this, our screening policy is aided by the hospital's official policies and checkpoint screening measures completed prior to entering our building. These measures allow us to do everything we can, at this point in time, to minimize the chance that we expose ourselves or our patients to someone who has been sick or contagious with the virus.

We are set up to perform new consults and patient follow-ups via ZOOM video conferencing.

As of Monday, March 23rd, our office is open. We are open and seeing select patients. If you are currently on the schedule, please call our office if you have any concerns about your own health.

While all major hospitals have stopped elective surgery at this time, we are very selectively performing indicated operative procedures in our procedure room and in our AAAASF certified operating room under local and IV sedation.

As always, both Dr. Michael Eisemann and Dr. Bradley Eisemann are available by phone and email to answer any questions you may have.
