Tips Conference 2011

The Technology Innovation in Plastic Surgery (TIPS) conference was held last month and hosted by the Plastic Surgery Foundation, which is a research arm of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.  Each year cutting edge ideas for plastic surgery are presented at the conference – some of the procedures and technology are currently available, while others are in the research and development phase.  Some of the topics discussed were:  (1) Whether breast implants will become obsolete in the wake of stem cells and fat grafting; (2) Whether stem cells will play a role in breast reconstruction after cancer; (3) If there will be new techniques for treating wounds; (4) How stem cells can be used to erase wrinkles and restore volume to the aging face; (5) New Generation dermal fillers; and (6) non-invasive body contouring.  Michael Eisemann, M.D. of the Eisemann Plastic Surgery Center of Houston is a triple board certified physician and active member of the American Society for Plastic Surgeons.  Dr. Eisemann prides himself on keeping up to date with the latest advancements in plastic surgery, but with an emphasis on the efficacy and safety of all treatments.  If there is breaking news in the field of plastic surgery, rest assured that Dr. Eisemann will be ready to talk to his patients about the benefits and risks.  Contact Dr. Eisemann today and find out how you can enhance your appearance to put forth the best you.

Practice Policy Update Regarding COVID-19

Dr. Michael Eisemann, Dr. Bradley Eisemann, and the entire staff at Eisemann Plastic Surgery are committed to the health and safety of all of our patients and ourselves.

We are thankful to be connected to Houston Methodist Hospital, one of the most respected hospitals in the country. Because of this, our screening policy is aided by the hospital's official policies and checkpoint screening measures completed prior to entering our building. These measures allow us to do everything we can, at this point in time, to minimize the chance that we expose ourselves or our patients to someone who has been sick or contagious with the virus.

We are set up to perform new consults and patient follow-ups via ZOOM video conferencing.

As of Monday, March 23rd, our office is open. We are open and seeing select patients. If you are currently on the schedule, please call our office if you have any concerns about your own health.

While all major hospitals have stopped elective surgery at this time, we are very selectively performing indicated operative procedures in our procedure room and in our AAAASF certified operating room under local and IV sedation.

As always, both Dr. Michael Eisemann and Dr. Bradley Eisemann are available by phone and email to answer any questions you may have.
