What Can Blepharoplasty Achieve?

You might not think about your eyelids when considering how to achieve significant facial rejuvenation. However, the eyes are exceptionally important for your overall aesthetic. Drooping eyelids can make you appear fatigued and aged. Fortunately, plastic surgery, specifically the blepharoplasty procedure, can help Houston-area patients like you.

Blepharoplasty is more commonly known as “eyelid surgery” because that’s its essential goal- rejuvenating your eyelids in an attempt to rejuvenate your overall facial appearance.

As we age, our eyelids begin to droop and sag, while the skin grows puffy. As our attention is automatically drawn to the eyes during conversation, this presents a significant cosmetic issue for those who want their appearance to reflect their vitality and energy.

A blepharoplasty can achieve that goal by removing excess skin and fat in either the upper or lower eyelids. The procedure itself is quite simple and safe, and you can have complete confidence in the skill of our triple board-certified plastic surgeon.

You don’t have to appear fatigued. Plastic surgery provides a solution, and Dr. Eisemann has proven himself over decades of experience.

If you live in the Houston, Texas area and you’re considering plastic surgery, please call The Eisemann Plastic Surgery Center today at 713-766-0071 or contact us online for a consultation.

Practice Policy Update Regarding COVID-19

Dr. Michael Eisemann, Dr. Bradley Eisemann, and the entire staff at Eisemann Plastic Surgery are committed to the health and safety of all of our patients and ourselves.

We are thankful to be connected to Houston Methodist Hospital, one of the most respected hospitals in the country. Because of this, our screening policy is aided by the hospital's official policies and checkpoint screening measures completed prior to entering our building. These measures allow us to do everything we can, at this point in time, to minimize the chance that we expose ourselves or our patients to someone who has been sick or contagious with the virus.

We are set up to perform new consults and patient follow-ups via ZOOM video conferencing.

As of Monday, March 23rd, our office is open. We are open and seeing select patients. If you are currently on the schedule, please call our office if you have any concerns about your own health.

While all major hospitals have stopped elective surgery at this time, we are very selectively performing indicated operative procedures in our procedure room and in our AAAASF certified operating room under local and IV sedation.

As always, both Dr. Michael Eisemann and Dr. Bradley Eisemann are available by phone and email to answer any questions you may have.
